Enjoy the subtle taste of sweet pickles, basil and marjoram as the chicken is cooked in this complementary mixture of ingredients. Serve with rice and Poached Pickled Chicken is perfect for dinner.

3 lbs. broiler-fryer chicken, cut up
1 cup Nalley® sweet pickle juice
¼ teaspoon basil leaves, crushed
¼ teaspoon powdered marjoram
4 cups hot rice

Place chicken in large skillet. Add pickle juice, basil and marjoram. Cover and cook about 50 minutes. Serve on rice with remaining hot liquid.

Makes 4 servings.
