Nalley Pickles

Roll up Nalley Pickles in bacon and steak with this great dinner idea!

1 pound sliced round steak (1/8 - 1/4")
8 to 10 Nalley® dill or garlic dill pickle slices
2 cups water
½ lb. bacon
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon flour
1 cup water
salt & pepper to taste
noodles or mashed potatoes

Cut meat in 4 to 6" square pieces. Cut bacon into 4" strips. Lay beef out and lay 1 piece of bacon and a slice of pickle on it. Roll the meat around the bacon and pickle. Secure with toothpick. Heat oil in frying pan. When hot, place the meat in oil and brown. When meat is all browned, add 2 cups of water and simmer for 45 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. When tender, remove meat from pan.

Mix flour and 1 cup of water until smooth and add to juice. Cook until thickened. Add meat back to gravy and serve over noodles or mashed potatoes.
