Description
Pickle Ham Loaf has everything you could ask for in a dinner, including that subtle taste of dill pickles giving it the little something extra you have been looking for.
Ingredients
8 pounds ham, cured
2 pounds pork, fresh
2 pounds lean, boneless veal
4 medium-sized onions
3 cups Nalley® dill pickles, chopped
1 ½ pounds cornflakes or other crisp cereal, crushed
1 quart milk
12 eggs
2 tablespoons paprika
Directions
Grind ham, pork, veal and onions together. Add remaining ingredients, mix well.
Press meat mixture firmly into 6-9 x 5-inch greased loaf pans, or form loaves on shallow greased pan. Bake 2 hours at 350°. Remove from pans, let stand for several minutes for easier slicing. Garnish tops of loaves with a row of diagonally sliced large Nalley® dill pickles, drizzle with mustard.
